Class 9 Computer Science — Course Overview
The Class 9 Computer Science course introduces computing as a subject rather than as a set of software skills. It starts from systems thinking and the internal architecture of a computer, moves through networks and problem-solving, and finishes with the social and commercial context in which computing is used.
What This Course Is For
The Class 9 course exists to build foundations. Almost nothing in it is an end in itself — binary and logic gates underpin how hardware works, computational thinking underpins all later programming, and the web development unit is the first time a student produces something another person can open and use.
